Louisiana Children's Museum
Gyroscope was hired by the Louisiana Children’s Museum to plan and design their new Museum. The new Louisiana Children's Museum celebrates the child's view of the world. The planning, exhibit design, and graphic design were developed on a foundation of valuing children's questions and supporting open-ended inquiry. I was lead graphic designer on this project and designed over 400 unique graphics – this included environmental, instructional, gallery titles, interactive, and media treatments. I worked closely with Gyroscope's exhibit designer Tim Phillips, who also served as creative director. I also created new graphic style standards that incorporated children's artwork in an elevated and intentional way throughout the museum. All graphics (with the exception of various titles and labels) were in both English and Spanish.
